What to Expect - Timeline
Before you travel
Online consultation. Send photos from front, side, and three-quarter angles. The surgeon reviews your structure and sends a written recommendation and quote. No obligation.
Day of arrival
Airport pickup if on the all-inclusive package. Check in to hotel. Rest.
Day 1 at clinic
In-person consultation with surgeon. Blood tests and pre-surgical health screen. Final surgical plan confirmed and signed off.
Surgery day
Rhinoplasty takes 1.5–3 hours depending on complexity. Performed under sedation or general anesthesia. You go home to the hotel the same day in most cases, or stay one night for monitoring if more complex.
Days 1–5
Mild to moderate swelling and bruising around the eyes and nose. A small splint protects the new shape. Daily check-in with the clinical team. Most patients feel comfortable going out from Day 5.
Day 5–7
Follow-up appointment. Splint removed. Stitches out (if open technique). Pre-departure check. Most patients fly home between Day 5 and Day 7.
Weeks 2–4 (back home)
Swelling continues to reduce. Shape becomes increasingly visible. You stay in touch with us via WhatsApp. We monitor your healing remotely.
Months 3–6
Final result. Residual swelling fully resolves. This is when you'll see exactly what your nose looks like long term.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the swelling really visible when I fly home?
By Day 5–7, most swelling is mild enough that you won't look noticeably "post-surgical" in public. Some bruising may remain around the eyes, which makeup can cover.
Can I wear glasses after rhinoplasty?
Avoid resting glasses on your nose bridge for 6–8 weeks. Contact lenses are fine. If glasses are unavoidable, tape them to your forehead temporarily.
What if I'm unhappy with the result?
We do everything possible to understand your goals before surgery. If there's a concern after healing, we discuss it honestly. Revision is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Is this a permanent result?
Yes. Implant-based rhinoplasty results are permanent. Some natural aging of the nasal tip may occur over many years, as it does with any nose - operated on or not.
