When will I see the final results?

You may notice changes early, but swelling and healing can temporarily affect their appearance. Results become clearer as tissues settle, with timing depending on the procedure and your individual recovery.

Rhinoplasty can continue refining for a year or longer, while breast, body and facial procedures also develop over several months. Scar maturation may take longer than the initial recovery.

Your surgeon will explain the expected stages for your treatment and review your progress during follow-up.

Will my results look natural?

Treatment planning considers your existing features, proportions and personal preferences. If your goal is a subtle, natural-looking change, discuss this during consultation so your surgeon understands what matters to you.

For rhinoplasty, planning considers facial balance and nasal structure. Breast procedures consider your frame and tissues, while body contouring considers your shape and skin condition.

The aim is an outcome suited to your individual anatomy and goals, although a particular appearance cannot be guaranteed.

Are the results permanent?

Surgery can make lasting changes, but your appearance continues to evolve with ageing, weight changes, pregnancy and other factors.

Rhinoplasty changes nasal structure, while liposuction removes fat from treated areas. However, neither prevents future changes in appearance. Facelift and eyelid surgery also do not stop the ageing process.

Breast implants are not lifetime devices and may require further surgery. Non-surgical treatments such as Botox and fillers are temporary, with maintenance depending on the treatment and individual response.

Can results differ from my expectations?

Yes. Your anatomy, skin quality, previous treatments and healing response all influence the outcome.

Before and after photos can help illustrate possible changes, but another patient’s outcome does not predict your own. Your surgeon will explain how differences in anatomy and treatment affect what may be achievable for you.

Is revision surgery available if needed?

Revision surgery can be assessed for patients who have had a previous procedure, whether at Dr. Koko Vietnam or elsewhere.

Your surgeon will review your concerns, previous treatment and current anatomy before recommending an approach. Revision surgery can be more complex, and the appropriate timing depends on healing and the reason for revision.
